Intercolor is a platform for color research and development, consisting of an interdisciplinary group of color experts. These experts not only represent national associations but also work for major global players in the textile, fashion and consumer goods industry. We understand color to be a driving force in design and lifestyle and also one of the major reasons for product purchase. The Intercolor Committee currently has fourteen member countries in Europe and Asia (China, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey). Legally, Intercolor is a non-profit organization, financed by annual membership fees.

We exchange points of view to offer guidance on international color trends.
Intercolor's Congress is held twice a year, each time in a different host country.

Intercolor's members present their ideas for a specific season and their views

on changes in color and lifestyle in general to be used as a basis for trend development.

At the end of a 2-day workshop-meeting, the members agree on an "Intercolor Color Card".

So, 24 months ahead of each season, we obtain an international view on color,

which serves as a source of further development and helps decision making in various industries.
